Warning Against Idolatry

²⁹ “When ^(A)the Lord your God cuts off before you the nations whom you go in to dispossess, and you dispossess them and dwell in their land,

⁴ Behold, ^(A)I have allotted to you as an inheritance for your tribes those nations that remain, along with all the nations that I have already cut off, from the Jordan to the Great Sea in the west.
