Living as Those Made Alive in Christ

3 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ,^(A) set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.^(B)

⁶ The mind governed by the flesh is death,^(A) but the mind governed by the Spirit is life^(B) and peace.

³³ But seek first his kingdom^(A) and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.^(B)

¹⁸ So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen,^(A) since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

² Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.^(A)

²⁰ But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven,^(A) where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.^(B)

¹⁹ “For through the law I died to the law^(A) so that I might live for God.^{(B) 20} I have been crucified with Christ^(C) and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.^(D) The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God,^(E) who loved me^(F) and gave himself for me.^(G)

³³ Sell your possessions and give to the poor.^(A) Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven^(B) that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.^(C)
