22 Después me mostró un río limpio de agua de vida,(A) resplandeciente como cristal, que salía del trono de Dios y del Cordero. 2 En medio de la calle de la ciudad, y a uno y otro lado del río, estaba el árbol de la vida,(B) que produce doce frutos, dando cada mes su fruto; y las hojas del árbol eran para la sanidad de las naciones. 3 Y no habrá más maldición;(C) y el trono de Dios y del Cordero estará en ella, y sus siervos le servirán, 4 y verán su rostro, y su nombre estará en sus frentes. 5 No habrá allí más noche; y no tienen necesidad de luz de lámpara, ni de luz del sol, porque Dios el Señor los iluminará;(D) y reinarán por los siglos de los siglos.(E)
La venida de Cristo está cerca
6 Y me dijo: Estas palabras son fieles y verdaderas. Y el Señor, el Dios de los espíritus de los profetas, ha enviado su ángel, para mostrar a sus siervos las cosas que deben suceder pronto.
7 ¡He aquí, vengo pronto! Bienaventurado el que guarda las palabras de la profecía de este libro.
8 Yo Juan soy el que oyó y vio estas cosas. Y después que las hube oído y visto, me postré para adorar a los pies del ángel que me mostraba estas cosas. 9 Pero él me dijo: Mira, no lo hagas; porque yo soy consiervo tuyo, de tus hermanos los profetas, y de los que guardan las palabras de este libro. Adora a Dios.
10 Y me dijo: No selles las palabras de la profecía de este libro, porque el tiempo está cerca. 11 El que es injusto, sea injusto todavía; y el que es inmundo, sea inmundo todavía; y el que es justo, practique la justicia todavía; y el que es santo, santifíquese todavía.(F)
12 He aquí yo vengo pronto, y mi galardón conmigo,(G) para recompensar a cada uno según sea su obra.(H) 13 Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega,(I) el principio y el fin, el primero y el último.(J)
14 Bienaventurados los que lavan sus ropas, para tener derecho al árbol de la vida,(K) y para entrar por las puertas en la ciudad. 15 Mas los perros estarán fuera, y los hechiceros, los fornicarios, los homicidas, los idólatras, y todo aquel que ama y hace mentira.
16 Yo Jesús he enviado mi ángel para daros testimonio de estas cosas en las iglesias. Yo soy la raíz y el linaje de David,(L) la estrella resplandeciente de la mañana.
17 Y el Espíritu y la Esposa dicen: Ven. Y el que oye, diga: Ven. Y el que tiene sed, venga; y el que quiera, tome del agua de la vida gratuitamente.(M)
18 Yo testifico a todo aquel que oye las palabras de la profecía de este libro: Si alguno añadiere a estas cosas, Dios traerá sobre él las plagas que están escritas en este libro. 19 Y si alguno quitare de las palabras del libro de esta profecía,(N) Dios quitará su parte del libro de la vida, y de la santa ciudad y de las cosas que están escritas en este libro.
20 El que da testimonio de estas cosas dice: Ciertamente vengo en breve. Amén; sí, ven, Señor Jesús. 21 La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con todos vosotros. Amén.

Река жизни
22 Затем ангел показал мне реку воды жизни, блестящую, как кристалл, и текущую от трона Всевышнего и Ягнёнка 2 посредине центральной улицы города. По обе стороны реки растут деревья жизни. Они плодоносят двенадцать раз в год, давая каждый месяц свой плод, а листья деревьев предназначены для исцеления народов.[a] 3 И там уже больше не будет ничего проклятого.[b] В городе будет находиться трон Всевышнего и Ягнёнка, и Его рабы будут служить Ему. 4 Они будут видеть Его лицо,[c] и на лбу у них будет написано Его имя. 5 Ночи больше не будет. Им уже не нужен будет свет ламп или свет солнца, потому что Вечный Бог будет светить над ними. И они будут царствовать вовеки.[d]
6 Ангел сказал мне:
– Это верные и истинные слова. Вечный Бог, вдохновляющий дух пророков, послал Своего ангела, чтобы показать Своим рабам то, что должно произойти в будущем.

7 – Вот, Я скоро приду! Благословен тот, кто соблюдает слова пророчества, записанные в этом свитке.
8 Я, Иохан, всё это слышал и видел. И услышав и увидев всё это, я пал к ногам ангела, показывающего мне всё это, чтобы поклониться ему.
9 Но ангел говорит мне:
– Не делай этого! Я такой же раб, как и ты, как твои братья пророки и как те, кто соблюдает слова, записанные в этом свитке. Поклонись Всевышнему!
10 Потом он говорит мне:
– Не запечатывай слов пророчества, записанных в этом свитке,[e] потому что время уже близко. 11 Кто поступает несправедливо, тот и будет продолжать поступать несправедливо. Кто ведёт скверную жизнь, тот и будет продолжать вести скверную жизнь. Но тот, кто живёт праведной жизнью, будет продолжать жить праведно, и тот, кто свят, будет продолжать жить свято.[f]
12 – Вот, Я скоро приду! Я несу воздаяние каждому, и каждый получит по своим делам. 13 Я – Владыка всего: от А до Я, Первый и Последний,[g] Начало и Конец. 14 Благословенны те, кто омывает свои одежды, чтобы им иметь право питаться от дерева жизни и войти в город через ворота. 15 А снаружи останутся псы[h], колдуны, развратники, убийцы, идолопоклонники и все любящие и творящие неправду.
16 Я, Иса, послал Моего ангела, чтобы передать вам это свидетельство для общин верующих. Я – Корень[i] и Потомок Давуда, Я – яркая Утренняя Звезда.[j]
17 Дух Всевышнего и невеста говорят Исе:
– Приди!
И каждый, кто это слышит, пусть тоже скажет:
– Приди!
Пусть приходит мучимый жаждой! Кто хочет, пусть берёт воду жизни даром![k]
18 И я предупреждаю каждого, кто слышит слова пророчества, записанные в этом свитке: кто добавит что-либо к этим словам, тому Всевышний добавит и бедствия, о которых написано в этом свитке. 19 И если кто отнимет что-либо из слов пророчества, записанных в этом свитке, у того и Всевышний отнимет право питаться от дерева жизни и жить в святом городе, которые описаны в этом свитке.[l]
20 Свидетельствующий об этом говорит:
– Да, Я скоро приду!
Да будет так! Приди, Повелитель Иса!
21 Пусть благодать Повелителя Исы будет со всеми.
Аминь.

22 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
