6 “And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places; yet have ye not returned unto Me,” saith the Lord.
7 “And also I have withheld the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest; and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city. One piece was rained upon, and the piece upon which it rained not withered.
8 So two or three cities wandered unto one city to drink water, but they were not satisfied; yet have ye not returned unto Me,” saith the Lord.

6 “I gave you empty stomachs in every city
and lack of bread in every town,
yet you have not returned to me,”
declares the Lord.(A)
7 “I also withheld(B) rain from you
when the harvest was still three months away.
I sent rain on one town,
but withheld it from another.(C)
One field had rain;
another had none and dried up.
8 People staggered from town to town for water(D)
but did not get enough(E) to drink,
yet you have not returned(F) to me,”
declares the Lord.(G)
