⁴ Peter looked intently at him, as did John, and said, “Look at us.”

⁹ He listened to Paul as he was speaking. And Paul, looking at him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed,^{(A) 10} said in a loud voice, “Stand upright on your feet.” And the man^[a] sprang up and began to walk.

⁴⁰ Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”^(A)

²⁰ And he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him.^(A)

¹² When Peter saw it, he addressed the people, “Fellow Israelites,^[a] why do you wonder at this, or why do you stare at us, as though by our own power or piety we had made him walk?

⁶ When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”

⁶ As I looked at it closely I saw four-footed animals, beasts of prey, reptiles, and birds of the air.
