¹⁸ and after being ^(A)freed from sin, you became slaves to righteousness.

²² But now having been ^(A)freed from sin and ^(B)enslaved to God, you ^[a]derive your ^[b](C)benefit, ^[c]resulting in sanctification, and ^(D)the outcome, eternal life.

Servants of Christ

4 This is the way any person is to regard us: as ^(A)servants of Christ and ^(B)stewards of ^(C)the mysteries of God.

¹⁹ For though I am ^(A)free from all people, I have made myself ^(B)a slave to all, so that I may ^(C)gain more.

²³ Are they ^(A)servants of Christ?—I am speaking as if insane—I more so; in ^(B)far more labors, in ^(C)far more imprisonments, ^[a](D)beaten times without number, often in danger of ^(E)death.

^6 (A)not ^[a]by way of ^[b]eye-service, as ^(B)people-pleasers, but as ^(C)slaves of Christ, ^(D)doing the will of God from the ^[c]heart.

⁷ just as you learned it from ^(A)Epaphras, our ^(B)beloved fellow bond-servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on our behalf,
