¹⁴ But this I confess to you, that according to ^(A)the Way, which they call ^(B)a sect, ^(C)I worship ^(D)the God of our fathers, believing everything ^(E)laid down by the Law and written in the Prophets,

^22 (A)To this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so ^(B)I stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what ^(C)the prophets and Moses said would come to pass:

⁵ For we have found this man a plague, ^(A)one who stirs up riots among all the Jews throughout the world and is a ringleader of ^(B)the sect of the Nazarenes.

² and asked him for letters ^(A)to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to ^(B)the Way, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

^13 (A)The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, ^(B)the God of our fathers, ^(C)glorified his servant^[a] Jesus, whom ^(D)you delivered over and ^(E)denied in the presence of Pilate, ^(F)when he had decided to release him.

²³ When they had appointed a day for him, they came to him at his lodging in greater numbers. From morning till evening ^(A)he expounded to them, testifying to ^(B)the kingdom of God and ^(C)trying to convince them about Jesus ^(D)both from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.

Guard the Deposit Entrusted to You

^3 (A)I thank God ^(B)whom I serve, as did my ancestors, ^(C)with a clear conscience, as I remember you ^(D)constantly in my prayers night and day.

The Righteousness of God Through Faith

²¹ But now ^(A)the righteousness of God ^(B)has been manifested apart from the law, although ^(C)the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it—

²⁷ King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you believe.”
