⁴¹ So those who received his word were baptized, and ^(A)there were added that day about three thousand souls.

⁴ But many of those who had heard the word believed, and ^(A)the number of the men came to about five thousand.

⁴⁷ praising God and ^(A)having favor with all the people. And the Lord ^(B)added to their number ^(C)day by day those who ^(D)were being saved.

³¹ And they said, ^(A)“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you ^(B)and your household.” ³² And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. ³³ And he took them ^(C)the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he ^(D)was baptized at once, he and all his family. ³⁴ Then he brought them up into his house and set food before them. And he ^(E)rejoiced along with his entire household that he had believed in God.

³⁷ Now when ^(A)they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, ^(B)what shall we do?”

⁴⁸ And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and ^(A)glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

^6 (A)And the crowds with one accord paid attention to what was being said by Philip, when they heard him ^(B)and saw the signs that he did. ⁷ For ^(C)unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many who had them, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed. ⁸ So ^(D)there was much joy in that city.

¹² “Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I ^(B)am going to the Father.

⁵ And Simon answered, “Master, ^(A)we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets.” ⁶ And when they had done this, ^(B)they enclosed a large number of fish, and ^(C)their nets were breaking. ⁷ They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. ^(D)And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.
