¹¹ No! We believe it is through the grace^(A) of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”

²⁴ and all are justified^(A) freely by his grace^(B) through the redemption^(C) that came by Christ Jesus.

⁴ But when the kindness^(A) and love of God our Savior^(B) appeared,^{(C) 5} he saved us,^(D) not because of righteous things we had done,^(E) but because of his mercy.^(F) He saved us through the washing^(G) of rebirth and renewal^(H) by the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom he poured out on us^(I) generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, ⁷ so that, having been justified by his grace,^(J) we might become heirs^(K) having the hope^(L) of eternal life.^(M)

¹⁴ May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,^(A) and the love of God,^(B) and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit^(C) be with you all.

⁹ And they sang a new song, saying:^(A)

¹¹ For the grace^(A) of God has appeared^(B) that offers salvation to all people.^(C)

⁵ made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions^(A)—it is by grace you have been saved.^{(B) 6} And God raised us up with Christ^(C) and seated us with him^(D) in the heavenly realms^(E) in Christ Jesus, ⁷ in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace,^(F) expressed in his kindness^(G) to us in Christ Jesus. ⁸ For it is by grace^(H) you have been saved,^(I) through faith^(J)—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— ⁹ not by works,^(K) so that no one can boast.^(L)

⁶ to the praise of his glorious grace,^(A) which he has freely given us in the One he loves.^{(B) 7} In him we have redemption^(C) through his blood,^(D) the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches^(E) of God’s grace

¹⁶ know that a person is not justified by the works of the law,^(A) but by faith in Jesus Christ.^(B) So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in^[a] Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.^(C)
