Acts 14:20-27

20 But when the disciples surrounded him, he got up and went into the city. The next day he went on with Barnabas to Derbe.
The Return to Antioch in Syria
21 After they had proclaimed the good news to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, then on to Iconium and Antioch. 22 There they strengthened the souls of the disciples and encouraged them to continue in the faith, saying, “It is through many persecutions that we must enter the kingdom of God.” 23 And after they had appointed elders for them in each church, with prayer and fasting they entrusted them to the Lord in whom they had come to believe.
24 Then they passed through Pisidia and came to Pamphylia. 25 When they had spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia. 26 From there they sailed back to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work[a] that they had completed. 27 When they arrived, they called the church together and related all that God had done with them, and how he had opened a door of faith for the Gentiles.

(A)Il giorno seguente partì con Barnaba per Derba. 21 E, dopo aver evangelizzato quella città e fatto molti discepoli, se ne tornarono a Listra, a Iconio e ad Antiochia, 22 fortificando gli animi dei discepoli ed esortandoli a perseverare nella fede, dicendo loro che dobbiamo entrare nel regno di Dio attraverso molte tribolazioni. 23 Dopo aver designato per loro degli anziani in ciascuna chiesa[a], e aver pregato e digiunato, li raccomandarono al Signore, nel quale avevano creduto. 24 Quindi, attraversata la Pisidia, giunsero in Panfilia. 25 Dopo aver annunciato la Parola a Perga, scesero ad Attalia[b]; 26 e di là salparono verso Antiochia, da dove erano stati raccomandati alla grazia di Dio per l’opera che avevano compiuta.
27 Giunti là e riunita la chiesa, riferirono tutte le cose che Dio aveva compiute per mezzo di loro e come aveva aperto la porta della fede agli stranieri.

20 Doch als ihn die Jünger umringten, stand er auf und ging in die Stadt. Und am folgenden Tag zog er mit Barnabas fort nach Derbe.
21 Und nachdem sie in dieser Stadt das Evangelium verkündigt und eine schöne Zahl Jünger gewonnen hatten, kehrten sie wieder nach Lystra und Ikonium und Antiochia zurück;
22 dabei stärkten sie die Seelen der Jünger und ermahnten sie, unbeirrt im Glauben zu bleiben, und [sagten ihnen,] dass wir durch viele Bedrängnisse in das Reich Gottes eingehen müssen.
23 Nachdem sie ihnen aber in jeder Gemeinde Älteste bestimmt hatten, befahlen sie sie unter Gebet und Fasten dem Herrn an, an den sie gläubig geworden waren.
24 Und sie durchzogen Pisidien und kamen nach Pamphylien.
25 Und nachdem sie in Perge das Wort verkündigt hatten, zogen sie hinab nach Attalia.
26 Und von dort segelten sie nach Antiochia, von wo aus sie der Gnade Gottes übergeben worden waren zu dem Werk, das sie [nun] vollbracht hatten.
27 Als sie aber angekommen waren und die Gemeinde versammelt hatten, erzählten sie, wie viel Gott mit ihnen getan hatte, und dass er den Heiden die Tür des Glaubens geöffnet hatte.

20 De Jézus tanítványai összegyűltek Pál körül, aki felkelt, és visszament a városba. Másnap pedig Barnabással együtt továbbmentek Derbébe.
21 Derbében is hirdették az örömüzenetet, és ott is sokan Jézus tanítványai lettek. Azután Pál és Barnabás visszatért Lisztrába, majd Ikóniumba, onnan pedig a pizidiai Antiókhiába. 22 Mindenhol megerősítették a tanítványokat, és bátorították őket, hogy maradjanak meg a hitben. „Sok szenvedésen kell keresztülmennünk, amíg eljutunk Isten Királyságába” — mondták nekik. 23 Minden egyes városban kiválasztották a helyi gyülekezetből azokat, akiket vezetőknek jelöltek, majd böjtöléssel és imádkozással az Úr kegyelmére bízták őket, akiben hittek.
24 Pizidián át Pamfiliába, majd 25 Pergébe mentek. Itt is hirdették az örömüzenetet. Azután Attáliába érkeztek, ahol 26 hajóra szálltak.
Pál és Barnabás visszatér a szíriai Antiókhiába

Le retour à Antioche
21 Après avoir annoncé l’Evangile dans cette ville et y avoir fait de nombreux disciples, ils retournèrent à Lystres, à Iconium et à Antioche. 22 Ils fortifiaient les disciples et les encourageaient à demeurer fermes dans la foi.
– Car, leur disaient-ils, c’est au travers de beaucoup de souffrances qu’il nous faut entrer dans le royaume de Dieu.
23 Dans chaque Eglise, ils firent élire[a] des responsables et, en priant et en jeûnant, ils les confièrent au Seigneur en qui ils avaient cru.
24 De là, ils traversèrent la Pisidie et gagnèrent la Pamphylie. 25 Après avoir annoncé la Parole à Pergé, ils descendirent au port d’Attalie. 26 Là ils s’embarquèrent pour Antioche d’où ils étaient partis et où on les avait confiés à la grâce de Dieu pour l’œuvre qu’ils venaient d’accomplir.
27 A leur arrivée[b], ils réunirent l’Eglise et racontèrent tout ce que Dieu avait fait avec eux ; ils exposèrent, en particulier, comment il avait ouvert aux non-Juifs la porte de la foi.
