At Iconium

14 Now it happened in Iconium that they went together to the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of the Jews and of the ^(A)Greeks believed.

^4 (A)And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.

^51 (A)But they shook off the dust from their feet against them, and came to Iconium.

⁴⁶ Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, ^(A)“It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but ^(B)since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, ^(C)we turn to the Gentiles.

Strengthening the Converts

²¹ And when they had preached the gospel to that city ^(A)and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch,

³⁵ Then the Jews said among themselves, “Where does He intend to go that we shall not find Him? Does He intend to go to ^(A)the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks?

¹¹ where there is neither ^(A)Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, ^(B)but Christ is all and in all.

^28 (A)There is neither Jew nor Greek, ^(B)there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all ^(C)one in Christ Jesus.

³ Yet not even Titus who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.

²² For ^(A)Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; ²³ but we preach Christ crucified, ^(B)to the Jews a ^[a]stumbling block and to the ^[b]Greeks ^(C)foolishness, ²⁴ but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ ^(D)the power of God and ^(E)the wisdom of God.
