²¹ The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number became believers and turned to the Lord.^(A)

⁶⁶ All who heard them pondered them and said, “What then will this child become?” For indeed the hand of the Lord was with him.^(A)

⁴⁷ praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.^(A)

³⁵ And all the residents of Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.^(A)

⁹ For they report about us what kind of welcome we had among you and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God^{(A) 10} and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.^(B)

⁵ because our message of the gospel came to you not in word only but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction; just as you know what kind of persons we proved to be among you for your sake.^(A)

⁶ I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. ⁷ So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.

¹⁸ to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’^(A)

Paul Tells of His Preaching

¹⁹ “After that, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision ²⁰ but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout the countryside of Judea, and also to the gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God and do deeds consistent with repentance.^(B)

¹⁹ “Therefore I have reached the decision that we should not trouble those gentiles who are turning to God,

²⁴ for he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were brought to the Lord.^(A)
