The Believers Share Their Possessions
32 Now the whole group of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, but everything they owned was held in common.(A) 33 With great power the apostles gave their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.(B) 34 There was not a needy person among them, for as many as owned lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold.(C) 35 They laid it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.(D)Read full chapter

Sharing among the believers
32 The community of believers was one in heart and mind. None of them would say, “This is mine!” about any of their possessions, but held everything in common. 33 The apostles continued to bear powerful witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and an abundance of grace was at work among them all. 34 There were no needy persons among them. Those who owned properties or houses would sell them, bring the proceeds from the sales, 35 and place them in the care and under the authority of the apostles.
