Acts 2:32-47

³²This Jesus ^(A)God raised up, ^(B)and of that we all are witnesses. ³³^(C)Being therefore ^(D)exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from ^(E)the Father ^(F)the promise of the Holy Spirit, ^(G)he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing. ³⁴For ^(H)David did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says,

^(I)“‘The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at my right hand,
³⁵ until I make your enemies your footstool.”’

³⁶Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that ^(J)God has made him ^(K)both Lord and Christ, this Jesus ^(L)whom you crucified.”

³⁷Now when ^(M)they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, ^(N)what shall we do?” ³⁸And Peter said to them, ^(O)“Repent and ^(P)be baptized every one of you ^(Q)in the name of Jesus Christ ^(R)for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive ^(S)the gift of the Holy Spirit. ³⁹For ^(T)the promise is for you and ^(U)for your children and for all ^(V)who are far off, everyone ^(W)whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” ⁴⁰And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, ^(X)“Save yourselves from this ^(Y)crooked generation.” ⁴¹So those who received his word were baptized, and ^(Z)there were added that day about three thousand souls.

The Fellowship of the Believers

⁴²And ^(AA)they devoted themselves to the apostles' ^(AB)teaching and the ^(AC)fellowship, to ^(AD)the breaking of bread and the prayers. ⁴³And awe^[a] came upon every soul, and ^(AE)many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. ⁴⁴And all who believed were together and ^(AF)had all things in common. ⁴⁵And ^(AG)they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. ⁴⁶And day by day, ^(AH)attending the temple ^(AI)together and ^(AJ)breaking bread in their homes, they received their food ^(AK)with glad and generous hearts, ⁴⁷praising God and ^(AL)having favor with all the people. And the Lord ^(AM)added to their number ^(AN)day by day those who ^(AO)were being saved.
