37 And as he was in the Temple worshipping Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons [a]slew him with the sword: and they escaped into the land of Ararat, and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.

37 One day, while he was worshiping in the temple of his god Nisrok, his sons Adrammelek(A) and Sharezer killed him with the sword,(B) and they escaped to the land of Ararat.(C) And Esarhaddon(D) his son succeeded him as king.
