²¹God made him who had no sin^(A) to be sin^[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.^(B)

²¹For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

²⁶Such a high priest^(A) truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners,^(B) exalted above the heavens.^(C)

²⁶For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
