24 (A)In those days Hezekiah became sick to the point of death; and he prayed to Yahweh, and [a]Yahweh spoke to him and gave him a miraculous sign. 25 But Hezekiah gave no return for the benefit [b]he received, (B)because his heart was [c]proud; (C)therefore wrath came on him and on Judah and Jerusalem. 26 However, (D)Hezekiah [d]humbled the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of Yahweh did not come on them in the days of Hezekiah.
