²¹ Because of your promise and according to your own heart, you have wrought all this greatness so that your servant may know it.

³² “Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.^(A)

Jesus Rejoices

²¹ At that very hour Jesus^[a] rejoiced in the Holy Spirit^[b] and said, “I thank^[c] you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and the intelligent and have revealed them to infants; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.^[d](A)

³⁵ Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.^(A)
