⁴⁵     foreigners cower^(A) before me;
    as soon as they hear of me, they obey me.^(B)

¹⁵ Those who hate the Lord would cringe^(A) before him,
    and their punishment would last forever.

⁶ And foreigners^(A) who bind themselves to the Lord
    to minister^(B) to him,
to love the name^(C) of the Lord,
    and to be his servants,
all who keep the Sabbath^(D) without desecrating it
    and who hold fast to my covenant—

³ Let no foreigner^(A) who is bound to the Lord say,
    “The Lord will surely exclude me from his people.”^(B)
And let no eunuch^(C) complain,
    “I am only a dry tree.”

⁴⁴     foreigners^(A) cower before me;
    as soon as they hear of me, they obey me.
⁴⁵ They all lose heart;^(B)
    they come trembling^(C) from their strongholds.^(D)

²⁹ Blessed are you, Israel!^(A)
    Who is like you,^(B)
    a people saved by the Lord?^(C)
He is your shield and helper^(D)
    and your glorious sword.
Your enemies will cower before you,
    and you will tread on their heights.^(E)”
