³³ Then Joab went to the king and told him, and he summoned Absalom. So he came to the king and prostrated himself with his face to the ground before the king, and the king kissed Absalom.^(A)

²⁰ So he set off and went to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion; he ran and put his arms around him and kissed him.^(A)

⁴ But Esau ran to meet him and embraced him and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept.^(A)

¹⁵ And he kissed all his brothers and wept upon them, and after that his brothers talked with him.

²⁶ Then his father Isaac said to him, “Come near and kiss me, my son.”
