⁶ And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and ^(A)I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.” ’ ”

²⁴ saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’

²⁴ Therefore thus says the Lord God of hosts: “O My people, who dwell in Zion, ^(A)do not be afraid of the Assyrian. He shall strike you with a rod and lift up his staff against you, in the manner of ^(B)Egypt.

²² Thus the Lord saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all others, and ^[a]guided them on every side.
