⁶ Then Jehu wrote them a second letter, saying, “If you are on my side and will obey me, take the heads of your master’s sons and come to me in Jezreel by this time tomorrow.”

Now the royal princes, seventy of them, were with the leading men of the city, who were rearing them.

⁵⁰ “Do not stop him,” Jesus said, “for whoever is not against you is for you.”^(A)

³⁰ “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.^(A)

³² He looked up at the window and called out, “Who is on my side? Who?” Two or three eunuchs looked down at him.

⁸ So she wrote letters^(A) in Ahab’s name, placed his seal^(B) on them, and sent them to the elders and nobles who lived in Naboth’s city with him. ⁹ In those letters she wrote:

¹¹ So the elders and nobles who lived in Naboth’s city did as Jezebel directed in the letters she had written to them.

²⁴ Then Joshua, together with all Israel, took Achan son of Zerah, the silver, the robe, the gold bar, his sons^(A) and daughters, his cattle, donkeys and sheep, his tent and all that he had, to the Valley of Achor.^{(B) 25} Joshua said, “Why have you brought this trouble^(C) on us? The Lord will bring trouble on you today.”

Then all Israel stoned him,^(D) and after they had stoned the rest, they burned them.^(E)
