²⁶ And they brought the ^(A)sacred pillars out of the temple of Baal and burned them.

²³ For they also built for themselves ^(A)high^[a] places, ^(B)sacred pillars, and ^(C)wooden images on every high hill and ^(D)under every green tree.

¹⁸ and have cast their gods into the fire; for they were ^(A)not gods, but ^(B)the work of men’s hands—wood and stone. Therefore they destroyed them.

² And he did evil in the sight of the Lord, but not like his father and mother; for he put away the sacred pillar of Baal ^(A)that his father had made.

²¹ And they left their ^[a]images there, and David and his men ^(A)carried them away.
