²⁰ For ^(A)all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our ^(B)Amen to God for his glory.

^23 (A)Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for ^(B)he who promised is faithful.

^9 (A)The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise ^(B)as some count slowness, but ^(C)is patient toward you,^{[a] (D)}not wishing that any should perish, but ^(E)that all should reach repentance.

³³ I have said these things to you, that ^(A)in me you may have peace. ^(B)In the world you will have ^(C)tribulation. But ^(D)take heart; ^(E)I have overcome the world.”

¹³ I can do all things ^(A)through him who strengthens me.

¹¹ For no one can lay a ^(A)foundation other ^(B)than that which is laid, ^(C)which is Jesus Christ. ¹² Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— ^13 (D)each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed ^(E)by fire, and ^(F)the fire will test what sort of work each one has done.
