¹⁹ Then Uzziah became furious; and he had a censer in his hand to burn incense. And while he was angry with the priests, ^(A)leprosy broke out on his forehead, before the priests in the house of the Lord, beside the incense altar.

¹⁰ And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, ^(A)suddenly Miriam became ^(B)leprous, as white as snow. Then Aaron turned toward Miriam, and there she was, a leper.

¹⁶ So it was, as he talked with him, that the king said to him, “Have we made you the king’s counselor? Cease! Why should you be killed?”

Then the prophet ceased, and said, “I know that God has ^(A)determined to destroy you, because you have done this and have not heeded my advice.”

¹⁰ Then Asa was angry with the seer, and ^(A)put him in prison, for he was enraged at him because of this. And Asa oppressed some of the people at that time.

²⁵ Now he went in and stood before his master. Elisha said to him, “Where did you go, Gehazi?”

And he said, “Your servant did not go anywhere.”

²⁶ Then he said to him, “Did not my heart go with you when the man turned back from his chariot to meet you? Is it ^(A)time to receive money and to receive clothing, olive groves and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male and female servants? ²⁷ Therefore the leprosy of Naaman ^(B)shall cling to you and your descendants forever.” And he went out from his presence ^(C)leprous, as white as snow.
