^17 (A)You shall not be partial in judgment. You shall hear the small and the great alike. You shall not be intimidated by anyone, for ^(B)the judgment is God's. And the case that is too hard for you, you shall ^(C)bring to me, and I will hear it.’

The Vanity of Wealth and Honor

^8 (A)If you see in a province the oppression of the poor and the violation of justice and righteousness, ^(B)do not be amazed at the matter, ^(C)for the high official is watched by a higher, and there are yet higher ones over them.

^15 (A)“You shall do no injustice in court. You shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great, but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.

¹⁵ And he said to them, ^(A)“Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
