2 Peter 2:12-14 Disciples’ Literal New Testament (DLNT)

12 But these ones are like unreasoning animals having been born as creatures-of-instinct[a] for capture and destruction. While blaspheming in[b] things which they are ignorant, they will also be destroyed in their[c] destruction[d], 13 being wronged as the wages of wrong-doing. Regarding the reveling during the day to be a pleasure, they are spots and blemishes reveling in their deceptions while feasting-with you, 14 having eyes full of an adulteress[e] and restless[f] of sin, enticing[g] unstable souls, having a heart trained in[h] greed. Children of [i] a curse!—

2 Peter 2:12-14 New International Version (NIV)

12 But these people blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like unreasoning animals, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like animals they too will perish.

13 They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you.[a] 14 With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed—an accursed brood!
