^13 (A)He also brought out from there all the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king’s house, and he ^(B)smashed all the articles of gold ^(C)that Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the Lord, just as the Lord had said.

^13 (A)Now the Chaldeans smashed to pieces the bronze pillars which were in the house of the Lord, and the stands and ^(B)the bronze ^[a]Sea which were in the house of the Lord, and carried the ^[b]bronze to Babylon. ^14 (C)And they took away the pots, the shovels, the ^[c]shears, the spoons, and all the bronze utensils ^[d]which were used in temple service. ¹⁵ The captain of the bodyguards also took away the firepans and the basins, what was fine gold and what was fine silver.

Captivity in Babylon Begun

^10 (A)At the turn of the year King Nebuchadnezzar sent men and had him brought to Babylon with the valuable articles of the house of the Lord; and he made his relative ^(B)Zedekiah king over Judah and Jerusalem.

¹⁷ Now the bronze ^(A)pillars which belonged to the house of the Lord and the ^(B)stands and the bronze ^[a](C)sea, which were in the house of the Lord, the Chaldeans smashed to pieces and carried all their bronze to Babylon. ¹⁸ They also took the ^(D)pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the basins, the ^[b]pans, and all the bronze vessels which were used in temple service. ¹⁹ The captain of the guard also took the ^(E)bowls, the firepans, the basins, the pots, the lampstands, the ^[c]pans, and the drink offering bowls, whatever was fine gold, and whatever was fine silver.
