³ And Jonathan attacked ^(A)the garrison of the Philistines that was in ^(B)Geba, and the Philistines heard about it. Then Saul ^(C)blew the trumpet throughout the land, saying, “Let the Hebrews hear!” ⁴ And all Israel heard ^[a]the news that Saul had attacked the garrison of the Philistines, and also that Israel ^(D)had become repulsive to the Philistines. Then the people were summoned ^[b]to Saul at Gilgal.
