12 and may the Lord (A)make you increase and abound in love (B)for one another and for all, as we do for you, 13 so that he may (C)establish your hearts blameless in holiness before (D)our God and Father, at (E)the coming of our Lord Jesus (F)with all his saints.

A Life Pleasing to God

Finally, then, brothers,[a] we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you (G)received from us (H)how you ought to walk and (I)to please God, just as you are doing, that you (J)do so more and more. For (K)you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, (L)your sanctification:[b] (M)that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own (N)body[c] in holiness and (O)honor, not in (P)the passion of lust (Q)like the Gentiles (R)who do not know God;

The Coming of the Lord

13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, (A)that you may not grieve as others do (B)who have no hope. 14 For (C)since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him (D)those who have fallen asleep.
