¹⁴ For ^(A)since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him ^(B)those who have fallen asleep.

¹¹ If the Spirit of ^(A)him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus^[a] from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies ^(B)through his Spirit who dwells in you.

²⁰ But ^(A)our citizenship is in heaven, and ^(B)from it we ^(C)await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, ²¹ who will transform ^(D)our lowly body ^(E)to be like his glorious body, ^(F)by the power that enables him even ^(G)to subject all things to himself.

¹³ Since we have ^(A)the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, ^(B)“I believed, and so I spoke,” we also believe, and so we also speak, ¹⁴ knowing that ^(C)he who raised the Lord Jesus ^(D)will raise us also with Jesus and ^(E)bring us with you into his presence.

The Coming of the Lord

¹³ But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, ^(A)that you may not grieve as others do ^(B)who have no hope.

¹⁸ and the living one. ^(A)I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and ^(B)I have the keys of Death and Hades.

¹³ so that he may ^(A)establish your hearts blameless in holiness before ^(B)our God and Father, at ^(C)the coming of our Lord Jesus ^(D)with all his saints.

¹³ And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: ^(A)Blessed are the dead ^(B)who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, ^(C)“that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”
