⁶ And ^(A)you became imitators of us ^(B)and of the Lord, for ^(C)you received the word in much affliction, ^(D)with the ^(E)joy of the Holy Spirit,

11 ^(A)Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.

⁵² And the disciples were filled ^(A)with joy and ^(B)with the Holy Spirit.

⁹ It was ^(A)not because we do not have that right, but to give you in ourselves ^(B)an example to imitate.

²² But ^(A)the fruit of the Spirit is ^(B)love, joy, peace, patience, ^(C)kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

¹⁶ I urge you, then, ^(A)be imitators of me.

¹¹ Beloved, ^(A)do not imitate evil but imitate good. ^(B)Whoever does good is from God; ^(C)whoever does evil has not seen God.

^5 (A)But the Jews^{[a] (B)}were jealous, and taking ^(C)some wicked men of the rabble, they formed a mob, set the city in an uproar, and attacked the house of Jason, seeking to bring them out to the crowd. ⁶ And when they could not find them, ^(D)they dragged Jason and some of the brothers before the city authorities, shouting, “These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also, ⁷ and Jason has received them, and they are all acting against ^(E)the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is ^(F)another king, Jesus.” ⁸ And the people and the city authorities were disturbed when they heard these things. ⁹ And when they had taken money as security from Jason and the rest, they let them go.

Paul and Silas in Berea

^10 (G)The brothers^[b] immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived they ^(H)went into the Jewish synagogue.

¹⁶ And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another ^(A)Helper,^[a] to be with you forever, ¹⁷ even ^(B)the Spirit of truth, ^(C)whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and ^(D)will be^[b] in you.

¹⁸ “I will not leave you as orphans; ^(E)I will come to you.
