⁴⁶ This day the Lord will deliver^(A) you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses^(B) of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world^(C) will know that there is a God in Israel.^(D)

¹⁹ Now, Lord our God, deliver^(A) us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms^(B) of the earth may know^(C) that you alone, Lord, are God.”

²⁴ He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know^(A) that the hand of the Lord is powerful^(B) and so that you might always fear the Lord your God.^(C)”

²⁶ Your carcasses will be food for all the birds^(A) and the wild animals, and there will be no one to frighten them away.^(B)

¹⁷ And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds^(A) flying in midair,^(B) “Come,^(C) gather together for the great supper of God,^{(D) 18} so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people,^(E) free and slave,^(F) great and small.”^(G)

⁴⁷ The king said to Daniel, “Surely your God is the God of gods^(A) and the Lord of kings^(B) and a revealer of mysteries,^(C) for you were able to reveal this mystery.^(D)”
