Solomon Blesses the Assembly^(A)

^54 (B)And so it was, when Solomon had finished praying all this prayer and supplication to the Lord, that he arose from before the altar of the Lord, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.

⁴⁵ When He rose up from prayer, and had come to His disciples, He found them sleeping from sorrow.

7 When ^(B)Solomon had finished praying, ^(C)fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and ^(D)the glory of the Lord filled the ^[a]temple.

^12 (B)Then ^[a]Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands ¹³ (for Solomon had made a bronze platform five cubits long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court; and he stood on it, knelt down on his knees before all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven);

⁵ When we had come to the end of those days, we departed and went on our way; and they all accompanied us, with wives and children, till we were out of the city. And ^(A)we knelt down on the shore and prayed.

³⁶ And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.

^41 (A)And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed,
