⁷ Now, O Lord my God, You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I am a ^(A)little child; I do not know how ^(B)to go out or come in.

Offerings for Building the Temple

29 Furthermore King David said to all the assembly: “My son Solomon, whom alone God has ^(A)chosen, is ^(B)young and inexperienced; and the work is great, because the ^[a]temple is not for man but for the Lord God.

^17 (A)who may go out before them and go in before them, who may lead them out and bring them in, that the congregation of the Lord may not be ^(B)like sheep which have no shepherd.”

⁶ Then said I:

³ and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. ^4 (B)Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

^9 (A)I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

³ To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by ^(A)name and leads them out. ⁴ And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

²¹ Then he was ^(A)driven from the sons of men, his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. They fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, ^(B)till he ^[a]knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men, and appoints over it whomever He chooses.

¹⁸ O king, ^(A)the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your ^[a]father a kingdom and majesty, glory and honor.
