Ahaziah Reigns in Israel

⁵¹ Ahaziah the son of Ahab ^(A)began to reign over Israel in Samaria in the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and he reigned two years over Israel.

¹⁷ So he died according to the word of the Lord that Elijah had spoken. Jehoram became king in his place ^(A)in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, because Ahaziah had no son.

⁴⁰ So Ahab slept with his fathers, and Ahaziah his son reigned in his place.

^25 (A)Nadab the son of Jeroboam began to reign over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Judah, and he reigned over Israel two years.
