³ And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may ^(A)prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn;

⁹ Therefore ^(A)keep the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may ^(B)prosper in all that you do.

¹⁸ “Also it shall be, when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write for himself a copy of this law in a book, from the one ^(A)before the priests, the Levites. ¹⁹ And ^(B)it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the Lord his God and be careful to observe all the words of this law and these statutes, ²⁰ that his heart may not ^[a]be lifted above his brethren, that he ^(C)may not turn aside from the commandment to the right hand or to the left, and that he may ^[b]prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children in the midst of Israel.

¹² Only may the Lord ^(A)give you wisdom and understanding, and give you charge concerning Israel, that you may keep the law of the Lord your God. ^13 (B)Then you will prosper, if you take care to fulfill the statutes and judgments with which the Lord ^[a]charged Moses concerning Israel. ^(C)Be strong and of good courage; do not fear nor be dismayed.

Guidance for the Young

²⁰ Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he ^(A)did what was good and right and true before the Lord his God. ²¹ And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he ^(B)prospered.
