^5 (A)The border of the children of Ephraim, according to their families, was thus: The border of their inheritance on the east side was ^(B)Ataroth Addar ^(C)as far as Upper Beth Horon.

⁵ He built Upper Beth Horon and ^(A)Lower Beth Horon, fortified cities with walls, gates, and bars,

¹⁷ And Solomon built Gezer, Lower ^(A)Beth Horon,

¹⁰ So the Lord ^(A)routed them before Israel, killed them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, chased them along the road that goes ^(B)to Beth Horon, and struck them down as far as ^(C)Azekah and Makkedah.
