¹¹ And it shall be, when your days are ^(A)fulfilled, when you must ^[a]go to be with your fathers, that I will set up your ^(B)seed after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.

³ concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who ^[a]was ^(A)born of the seed of David according to the flesh, ⁴ and ^(B)declared to be the Son of God with power according ^(C)to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.

³⁶ “For David, after he had served ^[a]his own generation by the will of God, ^(A)fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and ^[b]saw corruption;

²⁹ “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you ^(A)of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

^[d]THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

²⁸ So he ^(A)died in a good old age, ^(B)full of days and riches and honor; and Solomon his son reigned in his place.

^5 (A)And of all my sons (for the Lord has given me many sons) ^(B)He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.
