⁴⁰ to offer burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of burnt offering regularly ^(A)morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the Law of the Lord which He commanded Israel;

³ “And you shall say to them, ^(A)‘This is the offering made by fire which you shall offer to the Lord: two male lambs in their first year without blemish, day by day, as a regular burnt offering. ⁴ The one lamb you shall offer in the morning, the other lamb you shall offer in the evening, ⁵ and ^(B)one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a ^(C)grain offering mixed with one-fourth of a hin of pressed oil. ⁶ It is ^(D)a regular burnt offering which was ordained at Mount Sinai for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord. ⁷ And its drink offering shall be one-fourth of a hin for each lamb; ^(E)in a holy place you shall pour out the drink to the Lord as an offering. ⁸ The other lamb you shall offer in the evening; as the morning grain offering and its drink offering, you shall offer it as an offering made by fire, a ^[a]sweet aroma to the Lord.

The Daily Offerings^(A)

³⁸ “Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: ^(B)two lambs of the first year, ^(C)day by day continually. ³⁹ One lamb you shall offer ^(D)in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer ^[a]at twilight. ⁴⁰ With the one lamb shall be one-tenth of an ephah of flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of pressed oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering. ⁴¹ And the other lamb you shall ^(E)offer ^[b]at twilight; and you shall offer with it the grain offering and the drink offering, as in the morning, for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord. ⁴² This shall be ^(F)a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord, ^(G)where I will meet you to speak with you.

²¹ yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man ^(A)Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, ^[a]being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering.

^13 (A)“You shall daily make a burnt offering to the Lord of a lamb of the first year without blemish; you shall prepare it ^[a]every morning. ¹⁴ And you shall prepare a grain offering with it every morning, a sixth of an ephah, and a third of a hin of oil to moisten the fine flour. This grain offering is a perpetual ordinance, to be made regularly to the Lord. ¹⁵ Thus they shall prepare the lamb, the grain offering, and the oil, as a ^(B)regular burnt offering every morning.”

³ Though fear had come upon them because of the people of those countries, they set the altar on its ^[a]bases; and they offered ^(A)burnt offerings on it to the Lord, both the morning and evening burnt offerings.

³ The king also appointed a ^[a]portion of his ^(A)possessions^[b] for the burnt offerings: for the morning and evening burnt offerings, the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths and the New Moons and the set feasts, as it is written in the ^(B)Law of the Lord.
