⁴⁰ to offer burnt offerings to the Lord ^(A)on the altar of burnt offering ^(B)regularly morning and evening, to do all that is written in the Law of the Lord that he commanded Israel.

^3 (A)And you shall say to them, This is the food offering that you shall offer to the Lord: two male lambs a year old without blemish, day by day, as a regular offering. ⁴ The one lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; ⁵ also ^(B)a tenth of an ephah^[a] of fine flour for ^(C)a grain offering, mixed ^(D)with a quarter of a hin^[b] of beaten oil. ⁶ It is a ^(E)regular burnt offering, which was ordained at Mount Sinai for a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord. ⁷ Its drink offering shall be a quarter of a hin for each lamb. In the Holy Place you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the Lord. ⁸ The other lamb you shall offer at twilight. Like the grain offering of the morning, and like its drink offering, you shall offer it as a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

³⁸ “Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: ^(A)two lambs a year old ^(B)day by day regularly. ³⁹ One lamb you shall offer ^(C)in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer ^(D)at twilight. ⁴⁰ And with the first lamb a tenth measure^[a] of fine flour mingled with a fourth of a hin^[b] of beaten oil, and a fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering. ⁴¹ The other lamb you shall offer ^(E)at twilight, and shall offer with it a grain offering and its drink offering, as ^(F)in the morning, for a ^(G)pleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord. ⁴² It shall be a ^(H)regular burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the tent of meeting before the Lord, ^(I)where I will meet with you, to speak to you there.

²¹ while I was speaking in prayer, the man ^(A)Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the first, ^(B)came to me in swift flight at ^(C)the time of the evening sacrifice.

^13 (A)“You shall provide a lamb a year old without blemish for a burnt offering to the Lord daily; morning by morning you shall provide it. ¹⁴ And ^(B)you shall provide a grain offering with it morning by morning, one sixth of an ephah, and one third of a hin of oil to moisten the flour, as a grain offering to the Lord. This is a perpetual statute. ¹⁵ Thus the lamb and the meal offering and the oil shall be provided, morning by morning, for ^(C)a regular burnt offering.

³ They set the altar in its place, ^(A)for fear was on them because of the peoples of the lands, and ^(B)they offered burnt offerings on it to the Lord, burnt offerings morning and evening.

^3 (A)The contribution of the king from his own possessions was for the burnt offerings: the burnt offerings of morning and evening, and the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths, the new moons, and the appointed feasts, ^(B)as it is written in the Law of the Lord.

⁴ Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the Lord my God and dedicate it to him for the burning of ^(A)incense of sweet spices before him, and for ^(B)the regular arrangement of the showbread, and for ^(C)burnt offerings morning and evening, ^(D)on the Sabbaths and the new moons and the appointed feasts of the Lord our God, as ordained forever for Israel.
