²⁶ And because God helped the Levites who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.

²⁹ Balaam said to Balak, “Build me seven altars here, and prepare seven bulls and seven rams for me.”^(A)

⁸ Now therefore take seven bulls and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering, and my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept his prayer not to deal with you according to your folly, for you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has done.”^(A)

⁵ Not that we are qualified of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; our qualification is from God,^(A)

¹⁶ to the one group a fragrance from death^[a] to death, to the other a fragrance from life^[b] to life. Who is qualified for these things?^(A)

²² To this day I have had help from God, and so I stand here, testifying to both small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would take place:^(A)

²³ And during the seven days of the festival he shall provide as a burnt offering to the Lord seven bulls and seven rams without blemish, on each of the seven days, and a male goat daily for a purification offering.^(A)

¹⁴ “But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to make this freewill offering? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.
