1 Timothy 1:14-16
International Standard Version

14 and the grace of our Lord overflowed toward me,[a] along with the faith and love that are in the Messiah[b] Jesus. 15 This is a trustworthy saying that deserves complete acceptance:[c]

To this world Messiah[d] came,
    sinful people to reclaim.[e]

I am the worst of them. 16 But for that very reason I received mercy, so that in me, as the worst sinner,[f] the Messiah[g] Jesus might demonstrate all of his patience as an example for those who would believe in him for eternal life.
