14 But our Lord gave me a full measure of his grace. And with that grace came the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
15 Here is a true statement that should be accepted without question: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and I am the worst of them. 16 But I was given mercy so that in me Christ Jesus could show that he has patience without limit. Christ showed his patience with me, the worst of all sinners. He wanted me to be an example for those who would believe in him and have eternal life.

14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly,(A) along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.(B)
15 Here is a trustworthy saying(C) that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners(D)—of whom I am the worst. 16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy(E) so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience(F) as an example for those who would believe(G) in him and receive eternal life.(H)
