11 and to aspire (A)to live quietly, and (B)to mind your own affairs, and (C)to work with your hands, as we instructed you,
11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands,(A) just as we told you,
11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
11 For we hear that some among you (A)walk in idleness, not busy at work, but (B)busybodies.
11 We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies.(A)
11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
13 Besides that, they learn to be idlers, going about from house to house, and not only idlers, but also (A)gossips and (B)busybodies, saying what they should not.
13 Besides, they get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also busybodies(A) who talk nonsense,(B) saying things they ought not to.
13 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
