1 Thessalonians 2:11-13

11 [a]As ye know how that we exhorted you, and comforted, and besought every one of you, (as a father his children.)
12 [b]That ye (A)would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
13 [c]For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, that when ye received the word of God, which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is indeed the word of God, which also worketh in you that believe.

11 For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children,(A) 12 encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy(B) of God, who calls(C) you into his kingdom and glory.
13 And we also thank God continually(D) because, when you received the word of God,(E) which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.
