²⁷ “But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, ^(A)heaven and the ^[a]highest heaven cannot contain You, how much less this house which I have built!

³⁴ But I say to you, ^(A)take no oath at all, neither by heaven, for it is ^(B)the throne of God, ³⁵ nor by the earth, for it is the ^(C)footstool of His feet, nor ^[a]by Jerusalem, for it is ^(D)the city of the great King.

²² And the one who swears by ^[a]heaven, ^(A)swears both by the throne of God and by Him who sits upon it.
