12 I am doing what you requested. I am giving you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has never been anyone like you, nor will there ever again be anyone like you. 13 I am also giving you what you didn’t ask for, riches and honor greater than that of any other king throughout your life. 14 More than that, if you will live according to my ways, obeying my laws and mitzvot like your father David, I will give you a long life.”

12 I will do what you have asked.(A) I will give you a wise(B) and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be. 13 Moreover, I will give you what you have not(C) asked for—both wealth and honor(D)—so that in your lifetime you will have no equal(E) among kings. 14 And if you walk(F) in obedience to me and keep my decrees and commands as David your father did, I will give you a long life.”(G)
