10 Kuusi n’azaala
Nimuloodi, Nimuloodi n’akula n’afuuka omusajja omuzira ow’amaanyi mu nsi.
11 Mizulayimu n’azaala
Ludimu, ne Anamimu, ne Lekabimu, ne Nafutukimu; 12 ne Pasulusimu, ne Kasulukimu (Abafirisuuti mwe basibuka), ne Kafutolimu.
13 Kanani n’azaala
Sidoni, ye mutabani we omukulu, ne Keesi; 14 n’Abayebusi, n’Abamoli, n’Abagirugaasi; 15 n’Abakiivi, n’Abaluki, n’Abasiini; 16 n’Aballuvadi, n’Abazemali n’Abakamasi.
17 Batabani ba Seemu baali:
Eramu, ne Asuli, ne Alupakusaadi, ne Ludi ne Alamu.
Ate batabani ba Alamu baali:
Uzi, ne Kuuli, ne Geseri, ne Meseki.[c]
18 Alupakusaadi n’azaala Seera,

19 Eberi yazaala abaana babiri aboobulenzi,
erinnya ly’omu nga ye Peregi, amakulu nti ensi yali egabiddwamu, n’erinnya ly’omulala nga ye Yokutaani.
20 Yokutaani n’azaala
Alumodaadi, ne Serefu, ne Kazalumaveesi, ne Yera; 21 ne Kadolaamu, ne Uzali, ne Dikula; 22 ne Ebali, ne Abimayeeri, ne Seeba; 23 ne Ofiri, ne Kavira ne Yobabu. Era abo bonna be baali batabani ba Yokutaani.
24 (E)Enda ya Seemu okutuuka ku Ibulaamu ye yali eno; Seemu n’azaala Alupakusaadi, Alupakusaadi n’azaala Seera,
25 Seera n’azaala Eberi, Eberi n’azaala Peregi, ne Peregi n’azaala Lewu.
26 Lewu n’azaala Serugi, Serugi n’azaala Nakoli, ne Nakoli n’azaala Teera,

50 Baalukanani bwe yafa, Kadadi n’afuga mu kifo kye, n’erinnya ly’ekibuga kye lyali Payi, ate nga mukyala we ye Meketaberi muwala wa Matuledi, ate era nga ye muzzukulu wa Mezakabu. 51 Kadadi naye n’afa.

5 The sons[b] of Japheth:
Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshek and Tiras.
6 The sons of Gomer:
Ashkenaz, Riphath[c] and Togarmah.
7 The sons of Javan:
Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittites and the Rodanites.
The Hamites(L)
8 The sons of Ham:
Cush, Egypt, Put and Canaan.
9 The sons of Cush:
Seba, Havilah, Sabta, Raamah and Sabteka.

One was named Peleg,[g] because in his time the earth was divided; his brother was named Joktan.

Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah, 21 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah, 22 Obal,[h] Abimael, Sheba, 23 Ophir, Havilah and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.

Hori and Homam. Timna was Lotan’s sister.

Alvan,[l] Manahath, Ebal, Shepho and Onam.

43 These were the kings who reigned in Edom before any Israelite king reigned:
Bela son of Beor, whose city was named Dinhabah.
44 When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah succeeded him as king.
45 When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites(AD) succeeded him as king.
46 When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, succeeded him as king. His city was named Avith.
47 When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him as king.
48 When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the river[p] succeeded him as king.
49 When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Akbor succeeded him as king.
50 When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad succeeded him as king. His city was named Pau,[q] and his wife’s name was Mehetabel daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-Zahab. 51 Hadad also died.
The chiefs of Edom were:
Timna, Alvah, Jetheth, 52 Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon, 53 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, 54 Magdiel and Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
