인간을 완전히 아시는 하나님

139 여호와여, 주는
나를 살피셨으니
나에 관한 모든 것을
알고 계십니다.
2 주께서는 내가
앉고 일어서는 것을 아시며
멀리서도 내 생각을 꿰뚫어 보시고
3 [a]내가 일하고 쉬는 것을
다 보고 계시며
나의 모든 행동을 잘 알고 계십니다.
4 여호와여, 주는 내가
말하기도 전에
내가 할 말을 다 아십니다.
5 주는 나를 사방에서 포위하시며
주의 손으로 나를 붙들고 계십니다.
6 이와 같은 주의 지식은
너무 깊어서
내가 이해할 수 없습니다.
7 내가 주를 떠나
어디로 갈 수 있으며
주 앞에서 어디로
피할 수 있겠습니까?
8 내가 하늘에 올라가도
주는 거기 계시며
내가 [b]하계에 가서 누워도
주는 거기 계십니다.
9 내가 새벽 날개를 타고 바다 저편
가장 먼 곳에 가서 살지라도
10 주는 거기서도 나를 인도하시고
주의 오른손으로
나를 붙드실 것입니다.
11 내가 만일 “흑암이 나를 덮고
나를 두른 빛이
밤이 되리라” 할지라도
12 주에게는 흑암이
어둡지 않을 것이며
밤도 대낮처럼 밝을 것입니다.
주에게는 흑암과 빛이
마찬가지이기 때문입니다.
13 주는 내 몸의
모든 기관을 만드시고
어머니의 태에서 나를
베 짜듯이 지으셨습니다.
14 내가 이처럼 놀랍고
신기하게 만들어졌으니
주를 찬양합니다.
주의 솜씨가 얼마나 훌륭한지
나는 잘 알고 있습니다.
15 내가 보이지 않는 어머니 태에서
만들어지고 있을 그 때에도
주는 내 형체를 보고 계셨습니다.
16 주는 [c]내가 태어나기도 전에
나를 보셨으며
나를 위해 작정된 날이
하루도 시작되기 전에
그 모든 날이
주의 책에 기록되었습니다.
17 하나님이시여, 주의 생각은
나에게 정말 소중합니다.
어쩌면 주는 그렇게도
많은 생각을 하십니까?
18 내가 만일 그 수를 헤아린다면
해변의 모래알보다
더 많을 것입니다.
내가 깰 때에도 주는
여전히 나와 함께 계십니다.
19 하나님이시여, 주는 악인들을
반드시 죽이실 것입니다.
피에 굶주린 자들아,
나를 떠나가거라!
20 그들이 주를 악평하며
주의 이름을 더럽히고 있습니다.
21 여호와여, 주를 미워하는 자를
내가 어찌 미워하지 않겠습니까?
주를 대적하는 자를
내가 어찌 증오하지 않겠습니까?
22 내가 그들을 미워하는 것은
주의 대적이 바로
나의 대적이기 때문입니다.
23 하나님이시여, 나를 살피시고
내 마음을 아시며
나를 시험하셔서 내 생각을 아소서.
24 나에게 무슨 악한
행위가 있는지 보시고
나를 영원한 길로 인도하소서.
악한 자들에게서 보호하소서

140 여호와여,
악인들에게서
나를 구하시고
난폭한 자들에게서
나를 보호하소서.
2 그들이 항상 악한 음모를 꾸미며
매일 말썽을 일으킵니다.
3 그들의 혀는 뱀의 혀와 같고
그들의 입술에는
독사의 독이 있습니다.
4 여호와여, 악인들의 손에서
나를 지키시고
난폭한 자들에게서
나를 보호하소서.
그들이 나를 넘어뜨릴
음모를 꾸미고 있습니다.
5 교만한 자들이 나를 잡으려고
덫을 놓고 그물을 치며
길가에 함정을 팠습니다.
6 여호와여,
내가 주께 말합니다.
“주는 나의 하나님이십니다.
내가 간절히 부르짖는 소리에
귀를 기울이소서.”
7 내 구원의 능력이 되시는
주 여호와여,
주는 전쟁터에서
나를 보호하셨습니다.
8 여호와여,
악인들이 소원하는 것을
허락하지 마시고
그들의 계획이
성공하지 못하게 하소서.
그렇지 않으면 그들이
교만할 것입니다.
9 나를 둘러싼 내 원수들의 악담이
도로 그들의 머리로
돌아가게 하소서.
10 뜨거운 숯불이
그들에게 떨어지게 하시고
그들이 불 속이나
깊은 웅덩이에 빠져서
다시 나오지 못하게 하소서.
11 남을 헐뜯는 자들은 이 세상에서
성공하지 못하게 하시고
난폭한 자들에게는
재앙이 따라다니게 하소서.
12 여호와여, 주는 가난하고
고통당하는 자들을 돕고
그들의 권리를
옹호하시는 분이심을
내가 알고 있습니다.
13 참으로 의로운 자들이
주의 이름을 찬양하며
정직한 자들이
주 앞에서 살 것입니다.
악에 빠지지 않게 하소서

141 여호와여,
내가 주께 부르짖습니다.
속히 나에게 오셔서
내가 부르짖을 때
내 음성에 귀를 기울이소서.
2 나의 기도를 주께 드리는
향과 저녁 제사처럼 받으소서.
3 여호와여, 내 입에
경비병을 세우시고
내 입술의 문을 지키소서.
4 내 마음이 악한 것에 끌려
악을 행하는 자들과 함께
악한 짓을 하지 않게 하시고
그들의 잔치에
참석하지 않게 하소서.
5 의로운 자들이
나를 치고 책망할지라도
내가 그것을 좋게 여기고
거절하지 않을 것이나
[d]악인들의 악한 행위는
내가 대적하고
항상 기도하리라.
6 그들의 통치자들이
바위 절벽에서 떨어질 때
사람들은
내 말을 들을 것이다.
7 사람들이 밭을 갈아
흙덩이를 부수뜨려 놓은 것처럼
우리 뼈가 [e]무덤가에 흩어졌구나.
8 주 여호와여,
내가 주를 바라보며
주를 신뢰합니다.
나를 죽도록 내버려 두지 마소서.
9 나를 지키셔서
악인들의 덫과 함정에
걸려들지 않게 하소서.
10 그들을
자기 그물에 걸리게 하시고
나는 무사히 피하게 하소서.

142 내가 여호와께
큰 소리로 부르짖고
간구합니다.
2 내가 억울한 사정을
주 앞에 털어놓고
나의 모든 어려움을
주께 말합니다.
3 내가 이처럼 위축되어
절망하고 있을 때
나의 갈 길을 아시는 분은
주밖에 없습니다.
내 원수들이 나를 잡으려고
덫을 놓았습니다.
4 내 오른편을 살펴보소서.
나를 돕거나 보호하는 자도 없고
나를 보살펴 주는 자도 없습니다.
5 여호와여,
내가 주께 부르짖습니다.
주는 나의 피난처이시며
[f]내가 이 세상에서
필요로 하는 전체입니다.
6 나의 부르짖음을 들으소서.
내가 말할 수 없는
어려움에 처해 있습니다.
추격하는 자들에게서
나를 구하소서.
그들은 나보다 강합니다.
7 내 영혼을 감옥에서 끌어내어
주의 이름을 찬양하게 하소서.
주께서 나에게
은혜를 베푸실 것이므로
의로운 자들이
내 주변에 모여들 것입니다.

143 여호와여,
내 기도를 들으시고
나의 간절한 부르짖음에
귀를 기울이소서.
주는 성실하시고
의로운 분이십니다.
나에게 응답하소서.
2 주의 종을 심판대에 세우지 마소서.
주 앞에는 의로운 사람이
하나도 없습니다.
3 내 원수가 나를 핍박하여
내 생명을 땅바닥에 내동댕이치고
캄캄한 곳에 집어 넣었으므로
내가 오래 전에
죽은 사람처럼 되었습니다.
4 그래서 내가 희망을 잃고
깊은 절망 가운데 빠져 있습니다.
5 내가 지나간 날들을 기억하며
주께서 행하신 모든 일을 생각하고
6 주를 향해 손을 들고 기도하며
내 영혼이 마른 땅처럼
주를 사모합니다.
7 여호와여, 속히 나에게 응답하소서.
내 영혼이 피곤합니다.
주의 얼굴을 나에게 숨기지 마소서.
그렇지 않으면
내가 죽게 될 것입니다.
8 매일 아침
주의 사랑의 말씀을 듣게 하소서.
내가 주를 신뢰합니다.
내가 갈 길을 보여 주소서.
내 영혼을 주께 바칩니다.

내 원수들에게서 건지소서.

여호와를 찬양하라!
그가 전쟁을 위해 나를 훈련시켜
전투에 대비하게 하신다.
2 여호와는 나를
사랑하는 하나님이시며
나의 요새시요
나를 보호하고 구하시는 분이시며
내 방패와
피난처가 되시는 분이시다.
그가 내 백성을 나에게
복종시키시는구나.
3 여호와여, 사람이 무엇인데
주께서 그를 알아 주시며
인간이 무엇인데
그를 생각하십니까?
4 사람은 한 번의 입김에 불과하고
그 사는 날이
지나가는 그림자 같습니다.
5 여호와여, 하늘을 굽히고
내려오셔서
산에 닿는 순간 연기가 나게 하소서.
6 번개를 보내 주의 대적을 흩으시고
주의 화살을 쏘아
그들이 달아나게 하소서.
7 위에서 주의 손을 뻗쳐
나를 깊은 물에서 건지시고
외국 사람들의 손에서 구하소서.
8 그들은 진실을 말하지 않으며
맹세를 하고서도
거짓말을 하는 자들입니다.
9 하나님이시여,
내가 주께 새 노래를 부르며
열 줄 비파로 주께 찬송하겠습니다.
10 주는 왕들에게 승리를 주시며
주의 종 다윗을 죽음의 칼날에서
구하시는 분이십니다.
11 외국인들의 손에서
나를 구하시고 건지소서.
그들은 진실을 말하지 않으며
맹세를 하고서도
거짓말을 하는 자들입니다.
12 젊은 우리 아들들은
잘 자란 나무 같으며
우리 딸들은 아름답게 다듬은
궁전 기둥 같으리라.
13 우리 창고에는
온갖 곡식이 가득하며
우리 양은 들에서
천 마리 만 마리로 불어나고
14 우리 수소는
무거운 짐을 실을 것이며
우리가 침략을 당하거나
포로로 잡혀가는 일이 없겠고
거리에서 부르짖는
소리가 없으리라.
15 이런 백성은 복이 있으니
여호와를 하나님으로 삼는 백성이
복이 있으리라!

145 왕이신 나의
하나님이시여,
내가 주를 높이고
영원히 주의 이름을
찬양하겠습니다.
2 내가 날마다 주께 감사하며
영원히 주를 찬양하겠습니다.
3 여호와는 위대하시므로
높이 찬양을 받으실 분이시다.
그의 위대하심은 측량할 수가 없다.
4 모든 세대가
주께서 행하신 일을 찬양하며
주의 능력 있는 일을
선포할 것입니다.
5 내가 주의 영광과 위엄을 말하며
주의 놀라운 일을 묵상하겠습니다.
6 사람들이 주의 능력 있는
일을 말할 것이며
나도 주의 위대하심을
선포하겠습니다.
7 모든 사람이 주의 선하심을
기억하여 말하며
주의 의에 대하여 노래할 것입니다.

주의 성도들이 주를

주의 능력을 전하여

곤경에 처한 자를 도우시며

주는 그들에게 때를 따라
먹을 것을 주시고

1 You have searched me,(A) Lord,
and you know(B) me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;(C)
you perceive my thoughts(D) from afar.
3 You discern my going out(E) and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.(F)
4 Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely.(G)
5 You hem me in(H) behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,(I)
too lofty(J) for me to attain.
7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee(K) from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens,(L) you are there;
if I make my bed(M) in the depths, you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,(N)
your right hand(O) will hold me fast.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
12 even the darkness will not be dark(P) to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
13 For you created my inmost being;(Q)

I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you

all the days ordained(Y) for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

How vast is the sum of them!

they would outnumber the grains of sand(AC)—
when I awake,(AD) I am still with you.
19 If only you, God, would slay the wicked!(AE)

20 They speak of you with evil intent;
your adversaries(AH) misuse your name.(AI)
21 Do I not hate those(AJ) who hate you, Lord,
and abhor(AK) those who are in rebellion against you?
22 I have nothing but hatred for them;
I count them my enemies.(AL)
23 Search me,(AM) God, and know my heart;(AN)
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way(AO) in me,
and lead me(AP) in the way everlasting.

1 Rescue me,(AQ) Lord, from evildoers;
protect me from the violent,(AR)
2 who devise evil plans(AS) in their hearts
and stir up war(AT) every day.
3 They make their tongues as sharp as(AU) a serpent’s;
the poison of vipers(AV) is on their lips.[c]
4 Keep me safe,(AW) Lord, from the hands of the wicked;(AX)
protect me from the violent,
who devise ways to trip my feet.
5 The arrogant have hidden a snare(AY) for me;
they have spread out the cords of their net(AZ)
and have set traps(BA) for me along my path.
6 I say to the Lord, “You are my God.”(BB)
Hear, Lord, my cry for mercy.(BC)
7 Sovereign Lord,(BD) my strong deliverer,
you shield my head in the day of battle.
8 Do not grant the wicked(BE) their desires, Lord;
do not let their plans succeed.
9 Those who surround me proudly rear their heads;
may the mischief of their lips engulf them.(BF)
10 May burning coals fall on them;
may they be thrown into the fire,(BG)
into miry pits, never to rise.
11 May slanderers not be established in the land;
may disaster hunt down the violent.(BH)
12 I know that the Lord secures justice for the poor(BI)
and upholds the cause(BJ) of the needy.(BK)
13 Surely the righteous will praise your name,(BL)
and the upright will live(BM) in your presence.(BN)
Psalm 141
A psalm of David.
1 I call to you, Lord, come quickly(BO) to me;
hear me(BP) when I call to you.
2 May my prayer be set before you like incense;(BQ)
may the lifting up of my hands(BR) be like the evening sacrifice.(BS)
3 Set a guard over my mouth,(BT) Lord;
keep watch over the door of my lips.(BU)
4 Do not let my heart(BV) be drawn to what is evil
so that I take part in wicked deeds(BW)
along with those who are evildoers;
do not let me eat their delicacies.(BX)
5 Let a righteous man strike me—that is a kindness;
let him rebuke me(BY)—that is oil on my head.(BZ)
My head will not refuse it,
for my prayer will still be against the deeds of evildoers.
6 Their rulers will be thrown down from the cliffs,(CA)
and the wicked will learn that my words were well spoken.
7 They will say, “As one plows(CB) and breaks up the earth,(CC)
so our bones have been scattered at the mouth(CD) of the grave.”
8 But my eyes are fixed(CE) on you, Sovereign Lord;
in you I take refuge(CF)—do not give me over to death.
9 Keep me safe(CG) from the traps set by evildoers,(CH)
from the snares(CI) they have laid for me.
10 Let the wicked fall(CJ) into their own nets,
while I pass by in safety.(CK)

1 I cry aloud(CM) to the Lord;
I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy.(CN)
2 I pour out before him my complaint;(CO)
before him I tell my trouble.(CP)
3 When my spirit grows faint(CQ) within me,
it is you who watch over my way.
In the path where I walk
people have hidden a snare for me.
4 Look and see, there is no one at my right hand;
no one is concerned for me.
I have no refuge;(CR)
no one cares(CS) for my life.
6 Listen to my cry,(CW)
for I am in desperate need;(CX)
rescue me(CY) from those who pursue me,
for they are too strong(CZ) for me.
7 Set me free from my prison,(DA)
that I may praise your name.(DB)
Then the righteous will gather about me
because of your goodness to me.(DC)
Psalm 143
A psalm of David.
1 Lord, hear my prayer,(DD)
listen to my cry for mercy;(DE)
in your faithfulness(DF) and righteousness(DG)
come to my relief.
2 Do not bring your servant into judgment,
for no one living is righteous(DH) before you.
3 The enemy pursues me,
he crushes me to the ground;
he makes me dwell in the darkness(DI)
like those long dead.(DJ)
4 So my spirit grows faint within me;
my heart within me is dismayed.(DK)
5 I remember(DL) the days of long ago;
I meditate(DM) on all your works
and consider what your hands have done.
6 I spread out my hands(DN) to you;
I thirst for you like a parched land.[f]
7 Answer me quickly,(DO) Lord;
my spirit fails.(DP)
Do not hide your face(DQ) from me
or I will be like those who go down to the pit.
8 Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,(DR)
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way(DS) I should go,

for I hide myself in you.

Psalm 144
Of David.
1 Praise be to the Lord my Rock,(EG)
who trains my hands for war,
my fingers for battle.
2 He is my loving God and my fortress,(EH)
my stronghold(EI) and my deliverer,
my shield,(EJ) in whom I take refuge,
who subdues peoples[g](EK) under me.
3 Lord, what are human beings(EL) that you care for them,
mere mortals that you think of them?
4 They are like a breath;(EM)
their days are like a fleeting shadow.(EN)
5 Part your heavens,(EO) Lord, and come down;(EP)
touch the mountains, so that they smoke.(EQ)
6 Send forth lightning(ER) and scatter(ES) the enemy;
shoot your arrows(ET) and rout them.
7 Reach down your hand from on high;(EU)
deliver me and rescue me(EV)
from the mighty waters,(EW)
from the hands of foreigners(EX)
8 whose mouths are full of lies,(EY)
whose right hands(EZ) are deceitful.(FA)
9 I will sing a new song(FB) to you, my God;
on the ten-stringed lyre(FC) I will make music to you,
10 to the One who gives victory to kings,(FD)
who delivers his servant David.(FE)
From the deadly sword(FF) 11 deliver me;
rescue me(FG) from the hands of foreigners(FH)
whose mouths are full of lies,(FI)
whose right hands are deceitful.(FJ)
12 Then our sons in their youth
will be like well-nurtured plants,(FK)
and our daughters will be like pillars(FL)
carved to adorn a palace.
13 Our barns will be filled(FM)
with every kind of provision.
Our sheep will increase by thousands,
by tens of thousands in our fields;
14 our oxen(FN) will draw heavy loads.[h]
There will be no breaching of walls,(FO)
no going into captivity,
no cry of distress in our streets.(FP)
15 Blessed is the people(FQ) of whom this is true;
blessed is the people whose God is the Lord.
Psalm 145[i]
A psalm of praise. Of David.
1 I will exalt you,(FR) my God the King;(FS)
I will praise your name(FT) for ever and ever.
2 Every day I will praise(FU) you
and extol your name(FV) for ever and ever.
3 Great(FW) is the Lord and most worthy of praise;(FX)
his greatness no one can fathom.(FY)
4 One generation(FZ) commends your works to another;
they tell(GA) of your mighty acts.(GB)
5 They speak of the glorious splendor(GC) of your majesty—
and I will meditate on your wonderful works.[j](GD)
6 They tell(GE) of the power of your awesome works—(GF)
and I will proclaim(GG) your great deeds.(GH)
7 They celebrate your abundant goodness(GI)
and joyfully sing(GJ) of your righteousness.(GK)
9 The Lord is good(GN) to all;
he has compassion(GO) on all he has made.
10 All your works praise you,(GP) Lord;
your faithful people extol(GQ) you.(GR)
11 They tell of the glory of your kingdom(GS)
and speak of your might,(GT)
12 so that all people may know of your mighty acts(GU)
and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.(GV)
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,(GW)
and your dominion endures through all generations.
The Lord is trustworthy(GX) in all he promises(GY)
and faithful in all he does.[k]
14 The Lord upholds(GZ) all who fall
and lifts up all(HA) who are bowed down.(HB)
15 The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food(HC) at the proper time.
16 You open your hand
and satisfy the desires(HD) of every living thing.
17 The Lord is righteous(HE) in all his ways
and faithful in all he does.(HF)
18 The Lord is near(HG) to all who call on him,(HH)
to all who call on him in truth.
19 He fulfills the desires(HI) of those who fear him;(HJ)
he hears their cry(HK) and saves them.(HL)
20 The Lord watches over(HM) all who love him,(HN)
but all the wicked he will destroy.(HO)

멀리서도 내 생각을 꿰뚫어 보시고

다 보고 계시며
나의 모든 행동을 잘 알고 계십니다.
4 여호와여, 주는 내가
말하기도 전에

4 Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely.(G)
5 You hem me in(H) behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,(I)
too lofty(J) for me to attain.
7 Where can I go from your Spirit?

and joyfully sing(GJ) of your righteousness.(GK)
9 The Lord is good(GN) to all;
he has compassion(GO) on all he has made.
10 All your works praise you,(GP) Lord;
your faithful people extol(GQ) you.(GR)
11 They tell of the glory of your kingdom(GS)
and speak of your might,(GT)
12 so that all people may know of your mighty acts(GU)
and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.(GV)
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,(GW)
and your dominion endures through all generations.
The Lord is trustworthy(GX) in all he promises(GY)
and faithful in all he does.[k]
14 The Lord upholds(GZ) all who fall
and lifts up all(HA) who are bowed down.(HB)
15 The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food(HC) at the proper time.
16 You open your hand
and satisfy the desires(HD) of every living thing.
17 The Lord is righteous(HE) in all his ways
and faithful in all he does.(HF)
18 The Lord is near(HG) to all who call on him,(HH)
to all who call on him in truth.
19 He fulfills the desires(HI) of those who fear him;(HJ)
he hears their cry(HK) and saves them.(HL)
20 The Lord watches over(HM) all who love him,(HN)
but all the wicked he will destroy.(HO)
